Introduction

Meadow Wood Lane tells the story of a

family of five trees living in a natural

wood with other plants, animals, and

insects of the forest.

Oliver Pine, Johnny Oakwood, Douglas Fir,

Marjorie Maple, and Tommy Cottonwood

are all family and residents of Meadow Wood Lane.

Meadow Wood Lane is located between

two mountains in the centre of Meadow Wood

Forest in an isolated outcrop at the foot of

Angel Falls. The fast-flowing Roody River

is the meadow’s only source of water. The river

winds its way through the mountains on its

long journey down to the sea.
